The construction of two new desulphurisation lines operating on the principle of wet limestone scrubbing using TRAY technologies, including the related peripheral technology for the flue gas system, limestone and gypsum management. The desulphurisation lines process non-desulphurised flue gases at a total capacity of 2 x 1.2 million Nm3/h from all six boilers of the Mělník I CHP plant, and comfortably achieve guaranteed parameters for SO2 emissions of up to 130 mg/Rm3 and PM of up to 8 mg/Rm3.
